Where's the most horrible town / city you've ever been to, and why?
I don't have many on my list but for me it's the seaside town of Morcombe, I don't know why, its probably unfair but it just was cold, raining, full of people, took ages to get there and had little to do.

It depends on what you consider "horrible" and the context.
When we were in Valdez, Alaska, one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen it was at the same time one of the most horrible because there were about 5 million dead fish floating in the water and the smell was indescribable. We got there just after all the salmon returned to spawn and then die.
I cannot put into proper words how bad the smell was but other than that, the entire area was incredible to look at and experience.

Do you know I cannot remember a place I didn't like.
